Gary began his aviation career in 1996 with Fordaire Aviation at Sywell, working on historic aircraft like the Tiger Moth and De Havilland Dragon Rapide. from there he joined Flylight Airsports in 2000 as workshop engineer & build support, gaining lots of knowledge from Paul Dewhurst. Deciding to make his own way in the aviation world he established Airmasters in 2007.Certifications: He is a BMAA (British Microlight Aircraft Association) Inspector and an LAA (Light Aircraft Association) Inspector.Expertise: He is also a qualified iRMT Technician (Independent Rotax Maintenance Technician). of now over 25 years
Gary Masters
Gary began his aviation career in 1996 with Fordaire Aviation at Sywell, working on historic aircraft like the Tiger Moth and De Havilland Dragon Rapide. In the year 2000 changed direction a little an started working at Flylight Airsports as head of workshop engineering and providing build support for the Skyranger aircraft, gaining great knowledge from Paul Dewhurst. and in 2007 He established Airmasters. initially working mainly with Oliver Achurch and the Flight Design team, today he is the UK Type approval holder for the Flight Design CT, and has since added Evektor, UL Concept Stampe SV4rs, and the fabulous JMB VL3 to the company portfolio
He is a BMAA (British Microlight Aircraft Association) Inspector and an LAA (Light Aircraft Association) Inspector.
He is also a qualified iRMT Technician (Independent Rotax Maintenance Technician). of over 25 years
Melanie Masters
Melanie is a Co-Founder of Airmasters, and also Gary's wife. They started the company together in 2007.
Before working at Airmasters, Melanie's previous job was a Legal Secretary.
